Each year my readers have been so kind as to email the proof that my predictions have come true. I sincerely appreciate it and hope that you will do so again this year because there is no way I can keep up with it unless you help. I have left the email as is with the exception of taking away the carriage returns so that it will fill the page from margin to margin. The names and addresses have also been erased to keep each person's anonymity.
Date: Mon, 29 Nov 2004 22:23:13 -0800 (PST) "A new discovery in the Northwest will make researchers wonder about evolution." Confirmed: Read this article, click on the link below: http://www.rednova.com/news/display/?id=99105 Little Folk a Big Find Dwarf skeleton discovery has scientists rethinking evolution In an astonishing discovery that could rewrite the history of human evolution, scientists say they have found the skeleton of a new human species, a dwarf, marooned for eons in a tropical Lost World while modern man rapidly colonized the rest of the planet. The finding on a remote Indonesian island has stunned anthropologists like no other in recent memory. It is a fundamentally new creature that bears more of a resemblance to fictional, barefooted hobbits than modern humans. Yet biologically speaking, it may have been closely related to us and perhaps even shared its caves with our ancestors. The 3-foot-tall adult female skeleton found in a cave is believed 18,000 years old. It smashes the long-cherished scientific belief that our species, Homo sapiens, systematically crowded out other upright-walking human cousins beginning 160,000 years ago and that we've had Earth to ourselves for tens of thousands of years. Instead, it suggests recent evolution was more complex than previously thought. And it demonstrates that Africa, the acknowledged cradle of humanity, does not hold all the answers to persistent questions of how -- and where -- we came to be. "This finding really does rewrite our knowledge of human evolution," said Chris Stringer, who directs human origins studies at the Natural History Museum in London. "And to have them present less than 20,000 years ago is frankly astonishing." Scientists called the dwarf skeleton "the most extreme" figure to be included in the extended human family. Certainly, she is the shortest. She is the best example of a trove of fragmented bones that account for as many as seven of these primitive individuals that lived on the equatorial island of Flores, east of Java and northwest of Australia. The mostly intact female skeleton was found in September 2003. Scientists have named the extinct species Homo floresiensis, or Flores Man, and details appear in Thursday's issue of the journal Nature. The specimens' ages range from 95,000 to 12,000 years old, meaning they lived until the threshold of recorded human history and perhaps crossed paths with the ancestors of today's islanders. Flores Man was hardly formidable. His grapefruit-sized brain was two-thirds smaller than ours, and closer to the brains of today's chimpanzees and transitional prehuman species in Africa that vanished 2 million years ago. Yet Flores Man made stone tools, lit fires and organized group hunts for meat. Bones of fish, birds and rodents found near the skeleton were charred, suggesting they were cooked. All this suggests Flores Man lived communally and communicated effectively, perhaps even verbally. "It is arguably the most significant discovery concerning our own genus in my lifetime," said anthropologist Bernard Wood of George Washington University, who reviewed the research independently. Discoveries simply "don't get any better than that," proclaimed Robert Foley and Marta Mirazon Lahr of Cambridge University in a written analysis. To others, the species' baffling combination of slight dimensions and coarse features bears almost no meaningful comparison either to modern humans or to our larger, archaic cousins. They suggest that Flores Man doesn't belong in the genus Homo at all, even if it was a recent contemporary. But they are unsure where to classify it. "I don't think anybody can pigeonhole this into the very simple- minded theories of what is human," anthropologist Jeffrey Schwartz of the University of Pittsburgh. "There is no biological reason to call it Homo. We have to rethink what it is." For now, most researchers have been limited to examining digital photographs of the specimens. The female partial skeleton and other fragments are stored in a laboratory in Jakarta, Indonesia. Researchers from Australia and Indonesia found the partial skeleton 13 months ago in a shallow limestone cave known as Liang Bua. The cave, which extends into a hillside for about 130 feet, has been the subject of scientific analysis since 1964. Fenced off and patrolled by guards, it is surrounded by coffee farms. Older stone tools and other artifacts previously found on the island suggest that Flores Man is part of a substantial archaic human lineage. "So the 18,000-year-old skeleton cannot be some kind of 'freak' that we just happened to stumble across," said one of the discoverers, radiocarbon dating expert Richard G. Roberts of the University of Wollongong in Australia. But the environment in which Flores Man lived was indeed peculiar, and scientists say it probably contributed to the specimen's unusually small dimensions. Millenia ago, Flores was a kind of a looking-glass world, a real- life Middle-earth inhabited by a menagerie of fantastical creatures like giant tortoises, elephants as small as ponies and rats as big as hunting dogs. It even had a dragon, although they were giant lizards like today's carnivorous Komodo dragons rather than the treasure- hoarding Smaug described by novelist J.R.R. Tolkien in his "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Artifacts suggest that a big-boned human cousin, Homo erectus, migrated from Java to Flores and other islands, perhaps by bamboo raft, nearly 1 million years ago. Researchers suspect that Flores Man probably is an H. erectus descendant that was squeezed by the pressures of natural selection. Nature is full of mammals -- deer, squirrels and pigs, for example -- living in marginal, isolated environments that gradually dwarf when food isn't plentiful and predators aren't threatening. This is the first time that the evolution of dwarfism has been recorded in a human relative, said the study's lead author, Peter Brown of the University of New England in Australia. Just how this primitive, remnant species managed to hang on is uncertain. Inbreeding certainly would've been a danger. Geologic evidence suggests a massive volcanic eruption sealed its fate some 12,000 years ago, along with other unusual island species like the dwarf elephant species, stegodon. Now, scientists are more puzzled by the specimen's jumble of features that appear to be borrowed from different human ancestors. This much is clear: Its worn teeth and fused skull show it was an adult. The shape of the pelvis is female. The skull is wide like H. erectus. But the sides are rounder and the crown traces an arc from ear to ear. The skull of H. erectus has straight sides and a pointed crown, they said. The lower jaw contains large, blunt teeth and roots like Australopithecus, a prehuman ancestor in Africa more than 3 million years ago. The front teeth are smaller and more like modern human teeth. The eye sockets are big and round, but unlike other members of the Homo genus, it has hardly any chin or browline. The rest of the skeleton looks as if it walked upright, but the pelvis and the shinbone have primitive, even apelike features. Bones from the species' feet and hands have not yet been found. Delicate artifacts found in the cave were described as "toy-sized" versions of stone tools made by H. erectus. They suggest that Flores Man retained intelligence and dexterity to flake small weapons with sharp edges, even if its body shrunk over time. "I've spent a sleepless night trying to figure out what to do with this thing," said Schwartz. "It's a mind-blower. It makes me think of nothing else in this world." Even more speculative is whether Flores Man met with modern humans, and what might've happened. Folklore experts have reported persistent legends of little people living on Flores and nearby islands. Islanders called the creature "Ebu Gogo" and say it was about 3 feet tall. Associated Press writers Emma Ross in London and Chris Brummit in Jakarta contributed to this report.

Date: Sun, 21 Nov 2004 09:43:45 +0000 (GMT) You were right in one of your 2004 predictions for Singapore The economy is rebounding with fast growth during the first 2 quarters but shrank at a 3.0 percent annualised rate in the third quarter of 2004 from the second quarter. I think it will take great efforts for the current leaders to place Singapore in the right direction and this might take up to 3 or 4 years. In your 2004 World Prediction, I noticed that Singapore came under Malaysia. Singapore was separated from Malaysia on 9 August 1965, and became a "sovereign, democratic and independent nation". Is it possible for Singapore to come under a separate heading for future predictions? I have a feeling Malaysia wouldn't like having their strong economic growth associated with Singapore's sluggish economy. Many Thanks :) Your other prediction ("Religion will be in your news this year.") might have happened and gone unnoticed, due to media regulations/practices. Do you see Religion in Singapore's news for 2005? Who/What would create this? You have accumulated many merits in your psychic life. I'm sure they will translate into benefits for Claude and your children some way or other
Good morning, An invention will put Canada more on the map than they are now.
Canada behind new health threat alert system A new global system for detecting public health and bioterrorism threats is to be unveiled Wednesday at the United Nations -- and Canadians played a lead role in its development. The new Global Public Health Intelligence Network sifts through media reports and websites from around the world and transmits relevant threat information immediately in six languages. Besides providing alerts of public health news, it will also provide a searchable database. The program was developed by the Public Health Agency of Canada, and will be managed by the Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response in Ottawa. Dr. Ron St. John, director-general for the Centre, says the program has some new features. "It's remarkable that you can receive something written in Chinese characters and one minute later it's in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Russian," he told CTV News. Along with the higher-profile threats, the system can also be used to track:
One key recipient of the alerts is the World Health Organization, which then develops an action plan to control the outbreak. "This early warning surveillance is a crucial element and will make weeks of difference and save many deaths and illnesses," said Dr. Stephen Corber of the World Health Organization. As one example of why early warning is important, the Chinese government first reported the disease that would become known as SARS to the WHO on Feb. 11, 2003. However, the disease is believed to have started in China's Guangdong province in November 2002. Earlier tracking might have kept the disease from spreading so far around the globe. Already, in its pilot phase, GPHIN has detected two-thirds of the 950 outbreaks the WHO investigated in the past two years. Besides a disease outbreak, the system could be used in the even of a chemical, biological or nuclear terror attack. occurred. It's that capability which caught the eye of broadcasting legend and philanthropist Ted Turner. Turner founded Nuclear Threat Initiative, a private group that seeks to raise awareness of the threat posed by chemical, biological and nuclear weapons proliferation. Since the GPHIN network complements his group's work, Turner donated $600,000 US to the project. Turner will attend Wednesday's launch at the United Nations, joining Ujjal Dosanjh, the federal health minister. "We funded this to the tune of over $8 million," Dosanjh said. "I believe the U.S. government has not funded it. It would be very nice if they co-funded it, it would be wonderful." While the U.S. government didn't contribute any direct funding, the intelligence branch of the U.S. military and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control are subscribers to the system. In general, government departments, non-governmental agencies and educational institutions will be the main users of the system. The network will charge a fee for access. That fee will vary, depending on the client's size, the number of potential users and any customized features. With a report from CTV's Lisa LaFlamme
A woman, well known by all, will make big sacrifices this year. Sheila Copps has written an explosive new tell-all book in which she alleges that Prime Minister Paul Martin once pushed to scrap the Canada Health Act while he was finance minister. A three-page excerpt from her not-yet released memoir, Worth Fighting For, was sent anonymously to The Canadian Press. In it, Copps says Martin planned "to end the Canada Health Act in the 1995 federal budget and replace it "with something more flexible after discussions with the provinces." Scrapping the Health Act was meant as a federal "carrot'' dangled by Martin to ease the pain of drastic cuts to health and social service transfers, the excerpt says. The 1995 budget was a landmark for the Liberal government and included Martin's promise to eliminate a $42-billion deficit "come hell or high water.'' Copps writes that she insisted on last minute changes to the budget that prevented medicare from being replaced. She says she and former prime minister Jean Chretien forced Martin to do a last-minute rewrite of the budget, and had him fax it to her home at midnight on the day before its release. "The offending words had been removed, but it was clear the fight for the Canada Health Act had only just begun,'' Copps writes. Martin's office vehemently denies the claim, calling the allegations "simply incorrect.'' Scott Reid, a spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office say Martin "would not design nor support such a proposal.'' The Canada Health Act guarantees universal access to health care for all Canadians and obliges provinces to meet conditions to receive billions in federal funding. Copps left politics earlier this year after losing a bitter nomination battle in her Hamilton riding to Liberal MP Tony Valeri, a Martin loyalist. The publisher of Worth Fighting For says Copps wrote the memoir because "she believes that there are secrets from Paul Martin's past that should be revealed." "Because she feels that Paul Martin and his team of insiders have broken the code of fair treatment, she is writing this book to shine light in dark places." "As a result, the book will be embargoed - with no excerpts - until its revelations hit the front pages."
Former MP Sheila Copps to make acting debut Former deputy prime minister Sheila Copps is making her acting debut at a dinner theatre in Kingston, Ontario next month. Copps will play Clairee Belcher in a presentation of the play Steel Magnolias. That was the role Olympia Dukakis played in the 1989 movie also featuring Julia Roberts and Dolly Parton. The former politician, 51, will be paid Equity wages of about $720 each week plus benefits and an RSP contribution. She says she's always had a secret desire to act, but her mother urged her to stay home after high school to get a "real job." Tickets for the play, $52 each, include dinner at the Howard Johnson Confederation Place Hotel, and of course, the show. The production's run begins on October 7. According to her director, Brian McKay, it's worth the price of admission. "She's got the stuff," he says. It was the husband of the play's co-producer who recommended Copps for the role. Sandy Crawley, executive director of the Documentary Filmmakers of Canada, knew Copps from her days in politics. He also knew she had a secret desire to appear on stage. Copps, meanwhile, says the timing was perfect. She happened to be between jobs (after losing her much-publicized riding battle to current House Leader Tony Valeri) and her new autobiography will be released on Oct. 25. "The role I am playing is the role of the ex-mayor's wife, who actually, coincidentally, has a family coliseum named after them," Copps told The Globe and Mail. Her own last name graces Hamilton's Copps Coliseum, in honour of her father Victor, who was mayor of the city for more than a decade. "I'm serious. It's hilarious," Copps said. "All the stars were aligning." Copps, who will be presenting her best southern drawl for the part, rehearses for the next three weeks. The show goes on at the hotel five days a week for four weeks at a brand-new theatre with a 200-seat capacity.

On the news this morning I heard that a serial killer named BTK in Wichita, Kansas has resurfaced. I lived there in the l970's when he was active and the city gripped by fear. CONYERS, Ga. A huge fire broke out in a chemical warehouse Tuesday morning, setting off multiple explosions and prompting police to evacuate residents threatened by a vast cloud of potentially toxic smoke. you said Chemicals will be in the news this year, an explosion or poison where towers stand. could this be it? Dear Dajuana, Your prediction under people mentioned new questions will be raised about old news and old cases reopened. The BTK(blind, torture, kill)strangler may have resurfaced. This serial killer terrorized Wichita,Kansas for 5 years in the 70's.This person recently sent letters as well as personal items from one of the victims to the Wichita Eagle newspaper. The case has been reopened according to NBC news.(3/26/04) JR

Dear DaJuana, Hi Dajuana. There was an earthquake in central California measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale on 9/28/04. This is the second earthquake to occur there in 9 months. Also, North Korea is under suspicion of testing its nuclear missiles. Apparently, NASA sattelitte images showed a mushroom cloud over a remote area in North Korea. The international community is concerned and investigating this. Could this be your prediction about a bomb exploding and causing great concern?
Dear Dajuana,
Hi Dajuana,
Date: Wed, 26 May 2004 08:38:23 -0700 (PDT) Hi Dajuana,Chemicals will be in the news this year, an explosion or poison where towers stand. May 25, a chemical plant in Conyers, Georgia, near Atlanta, caught fire after explosions were heard. The area was evacuated for about 5 miles because of the poisonous smoke fumes. I don't know whether there are any towers near there or not, but, you were exactly right on the rest of this prediction! They are investigating to try and find out the cause of the explosions. Do you think this was terrorist related? Hi there, Just letting you know your one and only prediction for New Zealand was right on the money - flooding in the lower North Island in February ravaged farms and small towns.
M S you said a ship blows up...well in the news today @_@(_)$ this is what was said.... PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Feb. 29) - The Coast Guard searched the frigid Atlantic Sunday for 18 crew members of a tanker that exploded while carrying 3.5 million gallons of ethanol. Three crewmen were known dead and six others were rescued... could this be what you meant? Hi Dajuana. Today 2/28/04 a tanker exploded off the Virginia coast.3 are confirmed dead and 18 are still missing and presumed dead. This was in your predictions for the U.S.about a ship blowing up.JR Hi Dajuana. I'm writing to you regarding one of your predictions under Japan regarding an object everyone will have to have. CNN (2/5/04under technology news) reported that Tomagotchi ,those digital creatures of the 90's will make a return. This time they fall in love, marry and breed. They are being launched in Japan 3/20/04 and overseas this summer. Judging by the millions sold in the 90's the expect to crush those numbers.

Message :: New Zealand Water will worry you this year, either a lack or abundance. I think it is abundance. Hi Regarding the above prediction, it looks like you have got it right again... Unseasonable summer storms have caused widespread flooding in the Manawatu-Wanganui, Wellington region of the North Island of New Zealand. Some parts of upper South Island have also been affected. Civil Defence emergency declarations are in place for the region including Manawatu, Rangitikei, Tararua, Horowhenua, Ruapehu and Wanganui districts and South Taranaki. Flooding due to heavy rain and strong winds has caused several key roads to be partially closed including State Highways 4, 54 and 56. A number of local and provincial roads also remain closed. Detours in place on State Highway 1 just North of Wellington, and slips threatening State highway 2, have left the capital city, Wellington with minimal accessib ility. Continued rain has delayed openings of several main routes. Most of the North Island rail lines have been also been affected. Flooding has caused widespread property damage and over 400 people have been evacuated at this stage. At least 19 bridges have collapsed or been damaged and a major gas line in the region is in need of repair. Water supplies and sewage systems have also been badly affected. Communities in some rural areas in the lower North Island have been without power and communication for four days. An estimated 1,500 phone lines are without service and some areas are still without electricity. Major rivers are at a 100 year level high and continue to threaten to cause further evacuations of thousand's of people. A severe rain and wind storm again hit the areas of Taranaki, Wellington and Marlborough last night. Further severe weather warnings have been issued for these areas with heavy rainfall predicted. As the areas concerned are predominately rural the long term consequences of the flooding may affect the viabilit y of some farms. The total cost of damage to cereals and crops, along with loss of livestock is unknown at this stage.
Date: Thu, 22 Jan 2004 20:40:41 EST Ben and Jennifer will have a rocky road. In the next three months, a loud argument between the two can be heard but they will probably weather the storm for now. Their relationship is going to be a weathering of storms but both like the excitement. Ben will have a harder time with the relationship over the next two years. I, too, have been watching the Ben/Jen scenario. I don't/didn't think that this is a relationship that will/would last, although I was skeptical about my original hunch when I saw that they were both Leos. I just read something today that stated that they had called off the engagement, and that she was no longer wearing her engagement ring. I am a semi-psychic intuitional clairovoyant Pisces, and I hate to pry in others' energy. But since the stereotypical Leo loves the spotlight, I figured they wouldn't mind. Hi DaJuana. Regarding your prediction involving Denver being at the center of attention. Could it be the sex scandal involving the University of Colorado football team in getting recruits? Some members have been accused of rape and supplying alcohol and drugs to minors.

Hi,
Date: Fri, 30 Jan 2004 12:03:50 -0800 Hi Da Juana, I see three things that have happened. The first being a bomb, a US bomb that wasn't loaded or filled with explosives, though accidentally dropped in England while flying over. I saw it reported on the internet in January. The second thing that I experienced here in Carmel, CA was the earthquake that's epicenter was San Simeon, CA and it was felt throughout a wide range of California in January. The third thing being the Mystic/Indigo Children of today. James Twyman has done a lot of work with these psychic children and they carry beautiful messages of PEACE. There was a movie made through The Beloved Community, that received the Viewers Choice Award in the Santa Fe Film Festival in January. Check out www.emissaryoflight.com Happy Predicting! Kathy

This is the biggest race event of the season, and it is the same race that his father, Dale Earnhardt, lost his life in 2001. Seems like you nailed that one. Regards, Rev J
