Ghosts
What is a ghost? Well, you could say it’s the ghost of a smile and mean that it’s just a small trace. Another might say that they saw a dead person walking through their house or shall we say, “haunt”, looking almost like they did while alive? Sometimes the word is even used in business as in a fictitious employee. You can even see a ghost in your television if it is in disrepair. Ghosts can sometimes be writers as in seen but not really known. Whatever you believe, believe in ghosts. They’re real.
Ghosts are souls of the dead and can be found in those alive as well. When a child is conceived and sometimes as it is born, a spirit inhabits the body of that child and goes with it through life until the time of it’s death. Thus the spirit continues to inhabit lives forever, whether it is a physical life or life in the spirit. Spirit is eternal. So that makes ghosts eternal too.
Every living item, from animals to plants, has spirit and as a result is a ghost. Physics shows how atoms become ghosts, rebound after a perceived death and become something else. From the smallest to the largest, there is nothing without spirit and that spirit is really a ghost.
The thing to realize from all this ghostly behavior is really simple. We never die. Civilization is so frightened and yet so intrigued by ghosts that we tend to use the word “ghost” to describe anything from love to personality traits to people who work in the background. We tell stories of a dead loved one returning to see us from the other side and we go to movies in order to be scared out of our wits. But the one thing we have to remember is, “We are all ghosts living in a human body.”
