Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich…

There’s nothing better than a Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich, especially when you haven’t had one in a while. If I eat bread, I might as well tell it where to go starting with stomach and ending with butt. So, it’s rare for me to eat bread but I love it, almost as much as I love bacon.

Tonight is one of those nights that I need comfort food, hence the BLT. I bought nice ripe tomatoes today along with fresh bacon and had some crispy lettuce. The choice for dinner was easy, not to mention quick.

If you’ve never had one, you ought to try it. Bet you’ll love it as much as Claude and I do.

Of course, I love food items that are good for you too. Lately, I’ve been craving greens and had them tonight. Lettuce is green.

I won’t feel guilty one bit for my little indiscretion. No, not one bit. The toasted bread, crunchy bacon, ruby red tomatoes and just a little mayonnaise made with olive oil, wow, doesn’t that sound good?
