Marty Robbins song, El Paso

Today while listening to Marty Robbins song, El Paso, Claude and I caught something a little different again and started to discuss it.  It wasn’t just the lyrics and rhythm.  It had to do with past lives.More...

When Marty sings the song, he starts with the fact that he’s flying thirty thousand feet over the town of El Paso and a memory starts, except that flying and memories of a young cowboy on horseback don’t exactly jive.  Thus the past life theory.

It intrigued me so much that I looked up the lyrics.  Guess what!  There’s nothing in the lyrics that mentions the plane ride at the front of the song.  Now, that leads me to wonder.  Marty do you believe as I do that we live many lives?

If you haven’t heard his song, you might want to look to youtube.com to listen to a very good artist and song and get a fresh insight into the man.
