Lately I’ve had the time to get back into an old love of mine, weight lifting and working out. Bet you thought I’d say something else, didn’t you?
It was fun watching the inches melt off after only a month of gym visits. And I don’t mean to make it sound as if I went there to have fun but that’s one of the benefits. Meeting someone while you’re red-faced straining to lift a new weight makes you know that person really wants a friendship based upon the sweating mass of jelly before him or her. Really you shouldn’t get red-faced although tequila can do that to you.
At my local gym we cheer each other on. The other day two men were lifting some tremendous weights without problems other than a little grunting. I only watched because maybe, not really, but someday I may want to lift as much as those two good-looking men. Really, you know I only watched to learn.
Just in case you don’t know the benefits of working out, let me expound upon them. You feel great immediately afterwards. The health reimbursements are astronomical and you look great. I’ve noticed that I stand taller, enjoy more confidence and besides that have been told I look great too. That’s always a nice payback.
What does this have to do with the psychic you say? Well, as the Bible mentions, “Your body is your castle. Keep it healthy.” I’m paraphrasing but you get the idea. Also, while I’m lifting those weights or doing some kind of cardio, I zone out and allow more ideas from the other side to gift me.
