Stress isn’t good for body, mind or spirit, but it factor’s in life insinuating itself into our psyche. Can you tell that stress isn’t something I admire? Stress does have its place though. Once you realize you are stressed, you can figure out the stressor and change your life. That is about the only good thing I can say for that emotion.
Realizing that stress can cause all sorts of illnesses such as heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, ulcers, just to name a few, you see that emotion is not something you really want in your life but how to keep it out. Even me, a psychic who is well aware of the spiritual aspects of life, finds myself stressed at times. And I, of all people, know the havoc it can present to the body which is the home of the soul. So from a spiritual nature, you need to look the stress over, find out how to stop it and then take care of your soul’s home. That sounds good doesn’t it?
The only problem is that sometimes we let ourselves become victims of the stress bug and don’t even realize it. Then, like a snowball rolling down the hill, it picks up momentum and continues to affect our lives and those close but only because we allow it. Think I’m preaching to myself now. You know, with looking for a new house and moving this month.
Really though, if you see this ugly little monster raise its head, you can stop it merely by knowing that you can make things better. And I’ve heard that old saying that by being positive you don’t get anywhere. But by being positive, stating that you won’t let stress continue to affect you in a negative way and putting this into action, you will see a positive change.
That’s what I’m looking for now.
